Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program; CST apprenticeship or military program acceptable.
• LPN with surgical experience or demonstrated competency.
• BLS certification required.
• CST certification preferred; required if working in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgery and arrange instruments.
• Maintain sterile field and assist as a scrub nurse.
• Scrub in general, gynecology, urology, podiatry, and plastics.
