Food Lion in Florence, SC is seeking a seasoned Store Operations Leader to oversee evening store operations, staff development and customer service excellence. You will partner with the Store Manager to safeguard merchandise quality, safety and loss prevention while delivering a welcoming shopping experience.

Ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and prior Department Manager or related leadership experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lead and develop associates across departments.
Must meet physical requirements and be able to work evening shifts.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
Hire, train, and develop store associates.
Manage performance through coaching, appraisal and disciplinary actions.
Maintain customer service focus and ensure fast, easy shopping experience.
Lead and motivate staff to reflect Food Lion's guiding principles.
Control store funds and company assets.
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and food safety standards.
Use store tools and systems for scheduling, ordering and reporting.
Support achievement of store budgeted financial and operating results.
Minimize shrink through proper inventory and cash handling.
