• Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Hire, train, and develop associates.
• Manage performance through coaching, appraisal and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast service.
• Provide leadership to promote Food Lion's guiding principles and values.
• Ensure proper control of store funds and assets.
• Observe safety, security and food safety standards.
• Understand and use company tools for scheduling, inventory, and reporting.
