Job summary

Food Lion is seeking an evening store operations leader to support the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day activities at our Henderson, NC location. You will guide associates, ensure safety and food safety, and drive top-notch customer service while maintaining merchandising standards.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, monitor performance, and help control store costs and inventory, ensuring store budgets meet targets and policies are followed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire and ability to lead and manage associates across departments.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Hire, train, and develop store associates.
• Manage performance through coaching and disciplinary actions.

• Oversee scheduling and staffing for multiple departments.
• Monitor store budgets and financial performance.
