Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to support the Sterile Processing Department in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role requries evening hours (3:00pm-11:30pm) with rotating weekends and holidays; GC/CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification preferred, and 2 years of sterile processing or OR experience is desired.

Qualifications

• GED/High School equivalence required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification strongly preferred; certification upon hire.
• Two years sterile processing or OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide sterile processed materials and equipment to hospital facilities.
• Follow procedures for decontamination, packaging, sterilization and case cart setup.
• Ensure items are labeled and placed in correct distribution areas.
• Operate sterilization equipment and document monitoring results.
• Use instrument tracking systems (ORSOS) for documentation and inventory control.
• Participate in overnight duties and shift hand-offs as needed.
