Priority Dispatch Corp. Serenity North in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Part-time Serenity Team Member for evening shifts.

The role emphasizes compassionate care for residents, spiritual support, and cooperative teamwork with volunteers. Duties include assisting with resident intakes, administering and documenting tests, monitoring medications, ensuring safety, supervising volunteers, and performing administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to share the Gospel and demonstrate Christian values.
• Ability to defuse tense situations and de-escalate crises.
• AS or equivalent education and 2-3 years related experience preferred.
• Understand trauma, mental illness, and addiction, and communicate with residents accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual comfort through listening, prayer, and biblical consolation to residents.
• Assist with resident intakes; check incoming luggage, distribute linens and toiletries.
• Accurately administer and document results of tests.
• Monitor residents’ medications and document accurately.
• Ensure safety and security of the environment for residents, employees, and volunteers.
• Supervise, train, and coach volunteers as assigned.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
