Job summary

Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is seeking a Night Shift Caregiver to assist elderly and vulnerable clients in the Knoxville area. Responsibilities include ADLs, medication assistance, housekeeping, meal prep, transport, and companionship.

You will report daily activities, maintain safety, and ensure confidentiality while upholding company policies and HIPAA standards. Roles span Full Time, Part Time, and various shift lengths.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• CNA license or equivalent caregiver experience preferred.
• CPR & First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing and continence care.
• Support with medications, housekeeping, meals, transportation and companionship.
• Document daily activities and report to supervisor using agency systems.
• Adhere to safety policies and confidentiality and report any concerns promptly.
