Job summary
Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to support elderly and vulnerable clients in the Sevierville and greater Knoxville area. You will assist with ADLs, medication reminders, meal prep, transportation, and companionship as part of a caring, trusted team.
You must demonstrate honesty and integrity, report daily activities, adhere to safety guidelines, and maintain confidentiality. The role offers flexible shifts (8/10/12 hour options, full-time, part-time) and benefits
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Able to follow care plans and instructions.
- CNA license or equivalent caregiver experience preferred.
- CPR & First Aid certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as specified in the plan of care.
- Assist with medication reminders, housekeeping, meals, shopping, and transportation.
- Report daily activity to supervisor and log in the agency system.
- Provide companionship and maintain client safety at all times.
