Johnsonville seeks a hands-on production supervisor to oversee sleeving, stuffing, Rapid Pak packaging, case pack, production staging and palletizing, ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, quality, SQF, GMP, and USDA requirements.

The role involves coordinating temporary staffing, maintaining equipment, monitoring quality, and supporting Lean initiatives within a USDA-regulated facility.

Formación

• Experience in USDA-regulated food manufacturing is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in an Operator role.
• Understanding of QX extrusion and cook-in-package processes is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Facilitator with identifying temporary worker staffing needs weekly based on production schedule.
• Enter new temporary workers in the hours tracking database and train workers to use it.
• Greet temporary workers and communicate their assignment at shift start.
• Lead pre-shift communication meetings and coordinate tasks.
• Facilitate production activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Verify equipment setup per established parameters and adjust as needed.
