Job summary

Johnsonville in Denmark, WI is seeking a Production Supervisor to guide sleeving, stuffing, packaging, and palletizing operations while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will supervise teams, coordinate staffing, and ensure equipment is maintained and functioning per USDA and SQF requirements. Strong problem-solving and communication are essential to drive continuous improvement on the line.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a USDA-regulated food manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an Operator role within the company is normally required.
• Strong understanding of QX extrusion system and cook-in-package process.

Responsibilities

• Assist with identifying staffing needs weekly and communicate with HR.
• Enter new temporary workers in the hours tracking system and train them on it.
• Greet workers and communicate shifts and assignments at start of each shift.
• Lead pre-shift communication meetings and coordinate with maintenance and QA teams.
• Supervise production activities to ensure safe, efficient operations and proper equipment setup.
• Monitor quality and production metrics, report issues, and coordinate with operators to resolve them.
