Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Shift Supervisor - Unarmed for a high-profile facility in Utah. The role oversees security for the site, enforces post orders, directs officers, and ensures contract compliance.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, training, and performance oversight to deter incidents and maintain safety. Requirements include DoD Secret Clearance, valid driver’s license, and 1 year of security experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• One or more of: Associate’s degree or military/service background or police cadet experience.
• Two+ years of verifiable work experience with strong customer service.
• Proven ability to follow orders, report writing, and teamwork.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong planning and organizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site post orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates on duty performance.
• Cross-train officers to increase versatility and site efficiency.
• Recommend productivity improvements and cost reductions.
• Recommend security surveys and post orders updates.
• Evaluate personnel actions for those supervised.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for shift.
• Ensure training and screening elements meet contract requirements.
• Manage overtime to minimum or as designated.
• Inspect staff performance to ensure contract quality.
