Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking an experienced residential services professional to lead the evening operations at Barnegat and Lacey homes. You will direct a team of Direct Support Professionals alongside the Residential Program Manager, ensuring safe, consistent, person-centered services through the shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of residential experience with individuals with ID/DD.
• New Jersey driver’s license with no more than five points.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise employees while fostering collaboration.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and adapt scheduling as needed.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of residential support services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evening shift and coordinate daily residential operations with the Residential Program Manager.
• Direct and coach Direct Support Professionals to meet agency expectations and development goals.
• Maintain safety, orderliness, and a welcoming home environment focused on residents’ needs.
• Assist with onboarding, training, scheduling, and coverage to ensure consistent services.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes.
• Support regulatory readiness and documentation accuracy across program records.
