Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County in Barnegat and Lacey seeks an Assistant Supervisor of Residential Team to lead the evening shift, guide Direct Support Professionals, and ensure safe, person-centered care for residents. You will coordinate daily operations with the Residential Program Manager, maintain accurate documentation, and support staff development to sustain high-quality services.

Starting pay is $25.00 per hour, with evening/weekend differentials, overtime opportunities, paid training, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two+ years of residential experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• New Jersey driver's license with no more than five points.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise employees while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and adjust schedules based on operational needs.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with residential support services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily residential operations in partnership with the Residential Program Manager.
• Provide leadership during the evening shift and assume management responsibilities when circumstances require.
• Respond to changing priorities while helping maintain dependable, consistent services.
• Help ensure the home remains safe, orderly, welcoming, and focused on residents' needs.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and support staff development.
