Job summary

The Arc Ocean County Chapter is seeking an Evening Assistant Residential Supervisor in Barnegat/Lacey, NJ, to lead a residential home serving adults with IDD. You’ll partner with the Residential Program Manager to guide Direct Support Professionals during the evening shift.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily operations, responding to priorities, and ensuring high-quality, consistent services, while promoting a safe and respectful living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Ability to supervise Direct Support Professionals and staff.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to lead, coach, and develop team performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily residential operations with the Residential Program Manager.
• Provide shift leadership and assume management duties as needed.
• Respond to changing priorities while maintaining consistent services.
• Foster a safe, organized, welcoming home focused on residents' needs.
• Guide Direct Support Professionals through day-to-day responsibilities.
• Support onboarding, scheduling, and shift coverage, plus performance feedback.
