Job summary

The Arc Ocean County Chapter is seeking an Evening Assistant Residential Supervisor to lead the residential homes for adults with disabilities in Barnegat and Lacey. You will work with the Residential Program Manager and guide Direct Support Professionals during evening shifts.

You will ensure consistent services, respond to challenges, and promote independence while maintaining a safe, organized home environment for Residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of residential experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with no more than five (5) points.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise employees while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and adjust schedules based on operational needs.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with residential support services.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the everyday operation of the residential home alongside the Residential Program Manager.
• Provide leadership throughout the shift and step into management responsibilities when necessary.
• Respond to changing priorities while maintaining consistent services.
• Contribute to a residential environment that is safe, organized, welcoming, and centered around residents.
