Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired, or ability to obtain certification.
• One or more years of guest service experience.
• Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Must speak, understand, and write English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Experience in serving in a fast-paced restaurant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Anticipates and responds to guests in a friendly, positive and timely manner.
• Serving Duties: Take orders, upsell menu items, and follow cash handling/POS procedures.
• Side Work: Complete required side work and maintain cleanliness of stations and areas.
• Helps control expenses: Follow procedures for cash handling and cost controls.
• Works Safely: Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Self/Workload Management: Plan and prioritize tasks and attend required meetings.
• Works collaboratively with all others: Support room service, bartending, and other departments.
