Job summary

Butterball is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily activities on a line or area in our NC facility, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will implement plans to meet KPIs, support continuous improvement, and coach frontline team members.

Responsibilities include coaching, conducting safety and quality checks, maintaining production data, and collaborating with HR on personnel matters. Strong leadership and communication are essential to drive performance in a fast-paced meat

Qualifications

• Knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP, SOPs and related guidelines.
• Familiarity with operations metrics such as line yields and PMH.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to coach a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to apply safety policies and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of entry-level contributors and provides coaching.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed with on-the-floor coaching.
• Maintains accurate production data and department reports.
• Participates in HR activities such as hiring, terminations, performance management.
• Complies with USDA, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory guidelines.
