Job summary

Butterball is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to guide and implement manufacturing strategies across our NC facilities, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, safety, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of entry to established level contributors and/or supervisors, guiding delivery of department goals.
• Ensures operations comply with regulations, policies, quality standards, and contractual obligations while maximizing yields with minimal costs.
• Collaborates with leadership to plan equipment availability and short- to mid-term production strategies.
• Seeks cost-reduction opportunities and collaborates to optimize scheduling and customer service.
• Evaluates production reports and develops action plans to maintain quality, safety, and financial targets.
• Oversees talent development and promotes leadership growth through training and participation in projects.
• Manages the overall operating budget and participates in safety audits and related activities.
