Job summary

Butterball, LLC is seeking a Ready to Cook Production Supervisor for the evening shift in Mount Olive, NC. The role oversees line activities, enforces safety and quality standards, and drives continuous improvement using Butterball Operating System Solutions (BOSS).

The supervisor will lead a team, participate in HR processes, and uphold USDA/HACCP regulatory requirements to ensure efficient production and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills and abilities to succeed in the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of a line or area and provide guidance, coaching and support to ensure tasks are completed.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and perform routine safety and quality audits on the floor.
• Model and enforce company policies and regulatory guidelines (USDA, OSHA, HACCP, etc.).
• Maintain adherence to manufacturing protocols, product specs and quality guidelines.
• Optimize labor, tools, supplies and equipment use for efficiency and capacity.
• Identify and address training needs and operational gaps on the floor.
• Keep accurate production records and resolve gaps in efficiency and quality.
• Assist in investigations and participate in department or facility meetings.
• Support HR activities such as hiring, terminations, performance management and scheduling.
