Job summary

Butterball in Arkansas seeks a supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities at a food processing facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and KPI achievement. You will lead a team, coach peers, and drive continuous improvement using Butterball OS solutions and Lean practices.

You will ensure compliance with USDA/HACCP standards, manage shift operations, and monitor safety and quality metrics while collaborating with support functions to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.
• 2+ years of leadership experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of a team of entry level contributors and/or supervisors.
• Provides guidance, coaching, and support to ensure successful delivery of team goals.
• Participates in HR activities such as hiring, terminations, performance management, goal setting, team member development, scheduling.
• Enforces and contributes to the development of systems, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures team understands and follows safety policies and procedures; conducts safety and quality audits.
• Role model for company policies and regulatory guidelines (USDA, OSHA, etc.).
• Accountable for adherence to manufacturing protocols, product specifications, quality guidelines.
• Promotes process improvement and lean manufacturing; handles budgeting and cost improvements.
• Monitors KPIs including safety, efficiency, waste, downtime, labor costs; identifies gaps.
