Job summary

Wabtec Careers is seeking an Assembly 1 employee at their Grove City location. In this role, you will operate within a team environment focused on heavy industrial diesel locomotive engine maintenance. The position offers a starting hourly rate of $28.25, plus shift differentials for off-shifts.

Ideal candidates must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have the ability to work various shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED or GED equivalent, or a minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Ability to work on 2nd or 3rd shift, scheduled overtime and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble diesel engines and components.
• Operate high-pressure hydraulic tooling systems and hand tools.
• Collect quality data and record results.
• Adhere to all safety rules and shop regulations.
