Job summary

CKS Packaging, Inc. in Houston, TX is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily blow molding and injection molding operations.

You will lead a hands-on team, ensure production schedules are met, maintain quality, and drive safety compliance. Qualified candidates have 3+ years of supervisory experience in plastics manufacturing, strong leadership and communication skills, and a practical understanding of manufacturing metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production supervision experience.
• Blow molding of rigid plastic containers is a plus.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily blow molding and injection molding production activities.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Train, lead, and develop production team members.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance and company policies.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to maintain product quality.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
