Job summary

Search Masters, Inc. is seeking a production supervisor to oversee 3rd shift operations in Akron, OH. You will lead 2 Team Leads and up to 40 hourly production staff, driving KPIs, quality standards, and safety programs.

You will champion CI initiatives, mentor and develop talent, and manage disciplinary actions, ensuring high performance and accountability on the floor.

Qualifications

• Background in blow molding, injection molding, extrusion, or any plastic molding process preferred; automotive industry experience also considered.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience leading and managing production teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 2 Team Leads and up to 40 non-union hourly production employees on 3rd shift
• Drive key performance metrics, KPIs, quality standards, and safety initiatives on the production floor
• Champion and lead Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts to optimize manufacturing processes
• Mentor, coach, train, and develop talent to build a high-performing production team
• Manage disciplinary actions and conduct employee performance reviews
• Maintain a strong floor presence to ensure operational efficiency and team accountability
