Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking aProduction Operator to work under supervision on routine duties following standard policies. The role involves operating equipment, inspecting product quality, and assisting with production maintenance.

You will collaborate with the plant team to ensure smooth shifts and adherence to safety standards. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, two years in manufacturing, and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds, wear PPE, and follow directions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Must complete internal certifications.
• Ability to wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, ear protection).
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to produce products from raw materials to yard stage.
• Inspect product quality according to standards.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production records.
• Monitor machinery to detect malfunctions and report them.
• Perform setup, cleanup, preventive maintenance, and cross training as needed.
• Work with conveyors, ramps, elevators and other machinery.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out and CPM.
• Maintain high accuracy and adaptability to changes.
