Job summary

Turning-Point Community Programs in California seeks a shift supervisor to oversee shift operations, scheduling, and assist the Program Director. This at-will leadership role also manages day-to-day scheduling for staff performing program duties and provides case management as needed.

You will lead during Team Leader absences, help with staff evaluations, coordinate medication runs, and participate in hiring decisions. A high school diploma or GED and a California driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or completion of an accredited GED program with a minimum of 6 years in mental health services with leadership responsibilities.
• California driver’s license with current vehicle insurance/registration.
• Reliable transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if vehicle is more than five years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead clients and staff in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Review and track staff progress notes.
• Secure coverage for absent staff members.
• Assist in staff performance evaluations and hiring decisions for PM staff.
• Coordinate the PM medication runs and ensure client safety.
• Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotation basis for crises.
• Carry a small caseload and provide holistic case management as required.
