Job summary

Turning Point of Central California, Inc. seeks an Assistant Program Director to supervise clinical staff and oversee daily clinic operations under the Program Director.

The role involves leading the program leadership team, ensuring California reporting compliance, training staff on procedures, reviewing treatment plans, and coordinating with community programs. CA licensure with 2+ years post-licensure is preferred, with EMR experience and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed in California as LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC; preferred 2+ years post-licensure.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage clinical services.
• Experience with clinical assessments and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of confidentiality and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead program leadership team to plan, implement and evaluate services.
• Ensure compliance with child, elder, adult abuse reporting laws.
• Supervise leads and monitor staff performance and productivity.
• Consult with clinical staff on intervention methods and treatment planning.
• Review client files for documentation completion and quality.
• Train staff on procedures, ethics and confidentiality.
• Provide monthly program reports and statistics.
• Serve as lead contact for community programs within service area.
• Respond rapidly in emergencies and participate in interviews.
• Assist with parent complaints and crisis team as needed.
• Travel for off-site trainings and events; on-site presence required.
• Monitor timecards, PTO, rest and meal period policies; manage cell phone use.
