Weg-Transformers-USA in Washington, MO is seeking an Internal Assembler to perform transformer assembly. You will read BOMs, interpret drawings, prepare materials, and assemble components, using cranes as needed and performing occasional repairs.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic math skills, and be able to work evening or night shifts. U.S. work authorization and proximity to Washington, MO are required, with drug screening and background checks for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret BOMs and drawings.
• Basic math and computations.
• Proficient in basic English communications.
• Willingness to work evening or night shift.
• Resides within commuting distance of Washington, MO.
• U.S. work authorization required.
• Internal candidates follow CBA bid process.
• External candidates must complete application, assessments, interview, drug screen and background check.
• Safety-sensitive position with drug testing including THC.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret BOMs, drawings and work instructions to complete tasks.
• Prepare materials, tools and equipment for assembly.
• Assemble transformer components per instructions.
• Operate cranes/hoists as needed.
• Perform repairs inside or outside tank as required.
• Train and mentor new team members in assembly.
• Maintain quality and production records.
• Handle related tasks as directed by supervision.
