Job summary

WEG is hiring a Final Assembler - A/C (2nd Shift) in Washington, Missouri. You will read BOMs and drawings, select materials and assemble sub-assemblies for transformers. Install and verify devices, torque connections, and perform rework as needed. Prepare units for shipment and maintain quality records.

Requires basic math, safety compliance, and willingness to work evening/night shifts. Commuting distance to Washington, MO is expected.

Qualifications

• Safety: safety-sensitive role with drug testing.
• Can interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drawings; perform basic math.
• Holds valid US work authorization.
• Available for evening or night shifts; possible weekend overtime.
• Resides within commuting distance of Washington, MO.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and interpret BOMs, drawings, schematics, work instructions, and specs.
• Select and prepare materials, tools, and equipment; assemble sub-assemblies.
• Install and verify auxiliary devices; torque all bolted connections.
• Dismantle, rework, and repair units as required.
• Prepare unit for painting and shipment; operate lifting devices as needed.
• Maintain quality and production records; report oil leaks.
