Job summary

WEG-Transformers-USA is seeking a Production Assembler to join our 2nd or 3rd shift. You will read Bills of Materials, drawings and specifications to complete assignments with limited supervision, frame and top-yoke active parts, and prepare leads and cable assemblies for LV/HV connections.

You will move units with an overhead crane, verify insulation, install covers and bushings, and ensure proper clearances and connections.

Responsibilities

• Read Bills of Materials, drawings and specifications to complete assignments with limited supervision.
• Frame and top-yoke active part.
• Prepare leads and cable assemblies; perform LV/HV, Load Tap Changer (LTC) connections as applicable.
• Route and tie off leads; verify correct installation of insulation and lead runs.
• Prepare covers, install bushings and other hardware for mounting onto tank or active part.
• Move unit to and from test bay using overhead crane.
