Job summary

WEG Transformers USA is seeking a Production Assembler for 2nd or 3rd shift to build transformers. You will read BOMs, interpret drawings, and perform wire and assembly tasks with close attention to safety and quality. The position requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work on the 2nd or 3rd shift in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Framing and top-yoking active part.
• Identifying and calculating lengths of cable for lead runs and making LV/HV connections.

Responsibilities

• Read BOMs, drawings, schematics and specs to complete tasks with limited supervision.
• Frame and top-yoke active part.
• Prepare leads and cable assemblies; make LV/HV/LTC connections; route and tie off leads.
• Verify insulation and lead runs clearances and proper connections.
• Move unit to and from test bay using overhead crane.
