Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Claremore, OK is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Night Shift to join our Nursing team.

You will provide resident care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, document care in electronic health records, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure quality, compassionate care during night hours.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required in Oklahoma.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to lift/move residents and perform related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Support mobility: transfers, positioning and ambulation as needed.
• Take and record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, respiration).
• Document care and changes in residents’ condition in electronic health records.
• Report changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly and accurately.
• Assist with feeding and meal prep; provide companionship to residents.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure cohesive care.

Shift Available: 3pm-11pm, M-F

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Work Environment: This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Certifications: Current CNA certification in Oklahoma required.
