Qualifications

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Physical requirements include ability to lift and move residents and perform patient care tasks.
• Current CNA certification in Oklahoma is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Document all care provided and changes in residents’ conditions in electronic health records.
• Report changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor promptly.
• Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean environment for residents.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
