Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Nursing team. You will provide high-quality care, assist residents with daily living activities, and help ensure comfort and safety.

The role requires current Oklahoma CNA certification and involves collaboration with nurses and physicians in a clinical setting during the 2pm–10pm shift. Strong communication and compassionate patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to lift and move residents and perform physical tasks.
• Current Oklahoma CNA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Accurately document care and changes in residents’ conditions in EHRs.
• Report changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with feeding, meals, and provide companionship to residents.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure cohesive patient care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Certifications: Current CNA certification in Oklahoma required.
