Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco is seeking a Program Aid for the Swing Shift at the Multi-Service Center in San Francisco.

Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, you will monitor residents, provide resources, and help ensure shelter safety. The position runs 4:00pm to 12:30am with a starting wage of $24.48 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including Kaiser medical, dental and vision, life insurance, a 403b retirement plan with employer match after one year,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience working with individuals who are homeless or in crisis.

Responsibilities

• Provide resource and referral information for clients.
• Ensure respectful treatment of all clients.
• Monitor shelter and drop-in activities and maintain safety.
• Record client data using CHANGES software.
• Attend monthly all-staff meetings.
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.
