Job summary

Northern York County School District is seeking a 2nd shift Custodian at South Mountain Elementary School. The role is full-time with the district-provided benefits package and an hourly rate of $15.30, with a possible $0.75/hour additional for the 2nd shift during the school year.

Work days: 8 hours per shift, with 2nd shift during the school year and 1st shift during summer. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, maintaining facility conditions, supporting events, inventory management, and

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED or 3 months related experience.
• Clearances: PA State Police, Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprint (Act 153/126).
• Negative TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily custodial cleaning and preservation of facilities.
• Maintain records and prepare work reports as directed.
• Provide custodial and maintenance support for events and activities.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for daily cleaning.
• Ensure security of buildings; open/close as needed.
• Oversee grounds maintenance and snow removal when required.
