Job summary

Queen Creek Unified School District is seeking a Custodian at Eastmark High School to ensure all common spaces and athletic facilities are cleaned to district standards. The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), valid AZ driver’s license, and the ability to meet physical demands.

The position is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 2:00–10:30 pm, 261 days per year, hourly non-exempt, with compensation per QCUSD salary schedule and benefits per district policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Arizona driver's license.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
• Position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and exerting 50-60 lbs of force frequently.
• Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel.
• May involve late-night shift until about 11 pm during the school year.
• Must pass a background clearance and obtain Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Dust mop, sweep, and wet mop hard surface floors.
• Vacuum clean rugs and carpets.
• Scrub and clean bathroom fixtures and keep supplied.
• Clean walls, doors, windows, and woodwork.
• Clean elevators and stairwells.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Notify janitorial site lead of equipment and facilities needing repairs or replacement.
• Dust, clean, and polish furniture and countertops.
• Be flexible and perform other duties as assigned.
