Burrillville School Department in Harrisville, RI seeks a reliable 2nd Shift Custodian to perform cleaning and minor maintenance for school facilities. The role supports a safe, tidy environment for students and staff during evening hours and requires attention to detail and teamwork with the Principal/Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities include floor care, dusting, window washing, equipment upkeep, and assisting with building operations as assigned.

• Maintains professional attitude with staff and students.
• Kneeling, lifting, crouching, and reaching above shoulder level as needed.

Mansioni

• Perform cleaning, dusting, sweeping, and classroom maintenance.
• Operate custodial equipment and mix cleaning solutions as directed.
• Clean, wax, and polish floors; wash windows and walls.
• Set up tables, chairs, and equipment in cafeteria or auditorium.
• Notify supervisor about repairs to lighting, HVAC, or equipment.
• Maintain facility security per policy and handle snow removal as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of staff and student information.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of restrooms and common areas.
