Norwich Public Schools’ Teachers' Memorial Middle School is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Custodian to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment after school hours in Norwich, CT.

The role reports to the Facilities Supervisor and Building Administrator and requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus demonstrated aptitude for custodial tasks. The position offers full-time hours with a comprehensive benefits package and union-negotiated terms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
• Aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
• Any board-approved alternatives to established qualifications may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Keep building and surrounding areas neat and clean.
• Shovel, plow and sand walkways and driveways as needed.
• Clean classrooms and dust as needed daily.
• Clean corridors and sanitary fixtures daily.
• Disinfect toilets and floors; maintain drinking fountains.
• Wash windows inside and out at least twice a year.
• Perform yard keeping duties to maintain grounds.
• Ensure floors are clean and in good condition.
• Report property damage immediately to supervisors.
