Dedham School is seeking a dedicated Custodian to perform routine and deep cleaning, snow removal, and light maintenance at the Dedham School Department facilities. The role supports safety, cleanliness and efficient operations during the 1PM–9PM shift.

Expect responsibilities include carpet cleaning, floor refinishing, restocking, and assisting in training new staff while maintaining high standards and dependable service to the school community.

Formación

• Must understand and follow multi-step instructions.
• Able to read and follow safety procedures.
• Capable of using custodial equipment safely.
• Able to use hand and power tools when required.

Responsabilidades

• Dust, mop, vacuum, clean restrooms and restock supplies.
• Perform deep cleaning: carpets, floors, furniture, walls, lights, windows.
• Maintain custodial equipment and supplies.
• Empty trash and secure areas after cleaning.
• Report needs to head custodians and support safety practices.
• Assist in training new staff on routines.
• Set up and clean up building activities as needed.
• Snow removal and treating sidewalks/entryways in winter.
