Job summary

Facilities is seeking a Night Foreman for the 2pm–10pm shift to supervise night custodians and maintain the cleanliness, safety, and security of the school facilities. The role includes managing supplies, HVAC systems, and building access, with coordination of events and room setups.

The position requires occasional exposure to outdoor conditions and adherence to safety procedures; you will report to the Head Custodian and may handle after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising custodial or maintenance staff.
• Ability to manage evening shift operations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise night custodial staff and ensure cleanliness, sanitation, security and safety of the facilities.
• Oversee inventories of supplies, equipment, and HVAC systems within the school facility.
• Coordinate facility rentals and manage related setup and teardown.
• Open/close buildings, secure premises, set alarms, and ensure lights are off after hours.
• Address maintenance requests and coordinate with the department head as needed.
• Assist in coordinating events and ensuring proper room setups and furniture arrangement.
