Job summary

Golden State Foods is hiring a Robot Operator for the 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM shift. The role focuses on operating equipment safely, maintaining quality and sanitation, and ensuring efficient line performance.

You will follow film loading procedures, monitor performance, and document production data while adhering to GMP and safety standards. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and 1–3 months of related experience or training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Ability to use effective problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain optimal operation and product specs.
• Follow film cart loading procedures and load film rolls on machines.
• Identify proper boxes, labels and correct coding.
• Perform weight adjustments to maintain product weight.
• Adhere to safety, food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Document line production and downtime accurately.
• Identify varying machine set-ups to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per GMP/SSOP guidelines.
