Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Pouch Machine Operator for the night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) to operate and maintain pouch packaging equipment ensuring safe, efficient production. Responsibilities include setting up materials, monitoring output, troubleshooting minor issues, and documenting production data.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED plus 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and familiarity with PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related manufacturing or production experience.
• Able to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Comfort in a fast-paced production environment with noise, moisture and moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pouch packaging equipment safely and efficiently while meeting quality and food safety standards.
• Set up, load, and adjust films, boxes, labels, and coding to keep production running smoothly.
• Monitor product weight, machine performance, and line set-ups for consistent output.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and support efficient changeovers with the team.
• Clean, sanitize, assemble, and disassemble equipment per procedures.
• Complete production, inspection, and downtime documentation and assist with other duties.
