Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Cup Machine Operator on 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM) to properly operate packaging equipment with a focus on safety, quality, and cleanliness. You’ll handle multiple packaging systems, adjust settings, and ensure accurate weight and traceable logs.

Responsibilities include changeovers, minor troubleshooting, sanitation, data documentation, and compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of manufacturing experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Operate 6+ packaging systems (W25-1/2, Cryovac, L24, BIB, 12-up, 6-up fillers).
• Load film carts and rolls correctly; monitor and adjust for continuous operation.
• Select appropriate packaging materials (boxes, labels, date coding).
• Adjust machine settings to maintain target product weights.
• Execute standard changeovers with team members to limit downtime.
• Perform minor mechanical troubleshooting independently.
• Document production data (inspection logs, downtime records, metal detection results).
• Clean, rinse, sanitize equipment using COP and CIP methods.
• Follow all safety protocols including lockout/tagout; identify emergency stops and pinch points.
• Maintain compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
