Job summary

Marc's Auto Service in Wareham, MA is seeking a reliable Roadside / Towing Dispatcher. As the first point of contact for stranded motorists, law enforcement, and commercial clients, you will coordinate our fleet, assign the right truck, and ensure professional, timely service from arrival to completion.

You’ll manage multi-line phones, use Towbook and GPS dispatch software, document calls, and schedule transports while staying calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Comfort using computers, GPS mapping, and dispatch software.
• Previous experience in dispatch, towing, logistics, emergency services, or customer service preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage multi-line phone systems and dispatch requests.
• Dispatch appropriate equipment from flatbeds to heavy-duty wreckers.
• Coordinate with drivers using GPS dispatch software to assign the closest truck.
• Monitor active calls and maintain communication with drivers.
• Document critical information using Towbook and other dispatch tools.
• Schedule and coordinate vehicle transports for commercial and private accounts.
