Genesiscareers in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing with delivering high-quality nursing care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in Long Term Care or similar settings and at least 1 year of supervising a team of 10 or more. Responsibilities include leading nursing units, mentoring staff, ensuring policy compliance, and coordinating with other departments to optimize staffing and patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in Long Term Care or a similar setting plus at least 1 year supervising a team of 10 or more.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
• Mentor staff, coordinate with other departments, and implement the care delivery model.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff and ensure safe 24/7 care with minimal overtime and agency usage.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation and recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.
