Job summary

Highland Health & Rehabilitation in Bellingham, WA, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the evening shift (2pm–10:30pm) to supervise staff and deliver high-quality resident care.

The selected candidate will administer medications, document care, and collaborate with physicians and families while ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines. New grads welcome; experienced RNs encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active Washington RN license and BLS certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred (minimum six months).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• HIPAA knowledge and resident confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and monitor residents' status.
• Administer medications and document administration per guidelines.
• Develop and update patient care plans for long-term needs.
• Communicate with residents' physicians and families.
• Maintain accurate narcotics and medication records.
• Respond to emergencies, including CPR, per policy.
