Summa Health System is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Geriatric Psych Unit. The role is full-time evenings (3pm-11pm) with weekend/holiday coverage and on-call responsibilities to support safe, efficient operations across all shifts.

The position supports the RN Nurse Manager, supervises unit staff, guides quality care, and helps develop budget plans while maintaining Summa Health’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Current license to practice nursing in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Supports RN Nurse Manager in 24/7 patient care operations.
• Plans and develops tactical short, mid and long-term goals for the unit.
• Manages and coaches patient care staff performance.
• Helps manage unit budgets and cost reduction initiatives.
• Develops evidence-based standards of practice.
