Job summary

MultiCare Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking an RN Care Manager to join a hospital-based team on a part-time (0.5 FTE) evening schedule. You will apply your specialized nursing skills in a multidisciplinary environment to define and monitor standards of care, and to coordinate resources for patient-focused outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher, with a WA RN license, and understands data collection and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; RN with 15+ years may satisfy this requirement in lieu of an education agreement.
• Advanced degree in Nursing preferred (MSN/PhD/DNP/ARNP).
• Current WA RN license or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Case Manager certification highly desirable.
• Three (3) years recent clinical experience in area of specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and monitor standards of patient care and nursing practices.
• Collect, trend, and analyze data to identify best practices and performance improvements.
• Ensure availability and appropriate allocation of human and material resources.
• Coordinate towards the overall operations of assigned units and the provision of resources.
• Facilitate optimal and cost-efficient patient care delivery.
