MultiCare Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley, WA, seeks an RN Care Manager for a half-time, evening-shift position in a hospital-based team. This role focuses on specialized nursing care within a multidisciplinary approach to improve patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN with WA RN licensure; an MSN/DNP/ARNP and CM certification are desirable, with at least 3 years of relevant clinical experience in the specialty.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent degree within five years of hire; RN with seniority may be considered as alternative.
• Advanced nursing degree (MSN/DNP/ARNP) preferred.
• Current WA RN license or MLS required.
• CM certification highly desirable.
• Three years of recent clinical experience in the specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and monitor standards of patient care and nursing practices.
• Collect, trend, and analyze data to identify best practices and improvements.
• Ensure availability and appropriate allocation of resources (people and materials).
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve patient outcomes and unit plans.
• Coordinate operations of assigned units and provision of resources.
• Facilitate cost-efficient, high-quality patient care delivery.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent

Advanced nursing degree (MSN, DNP, ARNP) preferred
