Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a staff RN to join a hospital-based team in Spokane Valley. This role utilizes specialized training and nursing care within a multidisciplinary approach.

The position offers a night shift and a 0.9 FTE with a 3x12 schedule, in a setting focused on professional growth and a patient-centered model. You will work within a collaborative environment where nurses participate in clinical decision-making, maintain open communication, and strive for high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS/NALS/PALS/TNCC/NRP as required by facility or department.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Use nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and reduce costs.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff and health care team members.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
